🌟 **Some journeys change everything—and some people choose to turn those journeys into purpose.** 🌟
In late 2024, our team member Brian experienced a sudden fall that led to a life-changing diagnosis: Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 6 (SCA6), a rare neurological condition that affects coordination and balance.
In the months that followed, everything shifted—his career, the pace of life he once knew, and daily challenges he never expected. It was a difficult period of uncertainty and rapid symptom progression. Through it all, Brian has faced each challenge with courage, honesty, and resilience.
Brian is using his voice to raise awareness for Ataxia and support others facing this same journey. As an organization, we are honored to stand beside him—supporting his journey, amplifying his voice, and helping drive awareness forward.
While our Colorado team participates in the upcoming Denver Walk n’ Roll on July 18th at 10:00 AM in Denver, Colorado, our Texas branch is standing with them in spirit—united in support of Brian and the Ataxia community.
This community event is dedicated to supporting Ataxia research, advocacy, and those affected, while helping raise critical funds for research aimed at finding a cure.
