Located just 15 minutes north of downtown, San Antonio International Airport (SAT) offers competitive nonstop service to over 40 destinations across 13 airlines. The largest airline operating at SAT is Southwest Airlines which was founded right here in San Antonio. SAT is currently building for the future to provide our growing region the airport it needs. Three additional gates are being added to

the existing terminal by the end of 2022 and a future Terminal C will be completed by Spring of 2028 as well as additional parking garages and airfield improvements. SAT broke its passenger record in 2019 when over 10M people flew in and out of its facilities. SAT continues to outpace the national average in terms of recovery.

Join us on Sunday, June 21 for a special performance from Catherine Cisneros, Creative Director of URBAN-15 GROUP, under the colorful lights of Christopher Janney’s “Passing Light” installation, which align perfectly with the grid-like pattern on the floor every Summer Solstice at precisely 2pm CST (located in the long-term parking garage).

Travelers can now enjoy even more local flavor at SAT! 🤌🎉 Yesterday, we celebrated ribbon-cuttings for our three newest restaurant concessions from acclaimed chefs Johnny Hernandez, Jason Dady, and Elizabeth Johnson. Be sure to check these out the next time you're flying through Terminal A:

🥗 Pharm Table by Chef Elizabeth Johnson - The fast-casual version of its sister restaurant in Southtown, offering healthy takeaway options and drinks guided by ayurvedic principles.

🍕 Tre Pizzeria by Chef Jason Dady - The quick-service offshoot of Tre Trattoria, offering delicious Tuscan Italian pizzas, flatbreads, and sandwiches.

🍹 Southtown Market by Chef Johnny Hernandez - You can find it all here! Dine in and grab a margarita at the bar, or choose from a wide selection of grab-and-go snacks and travel essentials.

SAT travelers can now enjoy nonstop service to Pensacola International Airport aboard Breeze Airways. The new route operates twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with fares starting at $69.
