Medi-Ryde Transportation has partnered with VeOla Cares Foundation to provide non-emergency medical transportation to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans in the San Antonio, Texas area.

Every day, a significant number of people fail to receive the medical care they need because they lack transportation to their appointments. As a result of missing appointments, preventive care is delayed, which could lead to a decline in health.

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Medi-Ryde hosts “Rolling Relief - Elderly Rides Awareness Day” as part of Healthy Aging Month celebrated during the month of September. This event offers free and safe transportation to older adults, disabled and handicapped individuals who need assistance reaching their medical appointments and scheduled out-patient procedures.
Precinct 4 residents who register on September 17th for upcoming ride services will receive a free ride courtesy of Commissioner Calvert. Spaces are limited, reserve your ride today!

HAPPY NURSE WEEK!!!

On May 8, 2025, Medi-Ryde Transportation showed its appreciation and gratitude by providing lunch to the nurses at Hunters Pond Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in San Antonio, TX, as they celebrated National Nurses Week. It was great meeting the front-line heroes in person who dedicate themselves to caring for the residents of Hunter’s Pond. Director of Nursing Stacy Vaughn and Admission Coordinator Jose Munoz's leadership has a significant impact on the quality of care provided by their nurses.
