Concho Valley Transit Concho Valley Transit is the public transportation provider for the City of San Angelo, TX and surrounding areas.

Our services include fixed route and ADA/Paratransit services within San Angelo city limits and rural transportation services for Sterling, Coke, Reagan, Irion, Tom Green, Concho, McCulloch, Crockett, Schleicher, Menard, Sutton, and Kimble Counties. Our dedicated team of certified drivers are ready and happy to take you to your destination!

CVT is proud to partner with the Tom Green County Library for this year’s Summer Reading Program. To help young readers get where they need to go, all minors ages 17 and under ride FREE on CVT buses on Saturday, June 6!

Whether you’re heading to the library to pick up a new book, attend a Summer Reading Program event, or explore a new story, we’ve got your ride covered.

Service Update – Urban Demand Response (5310 Funding)

Concho Valley Transit would like to inform our riders that funding through the Section 5310 Program for Urban Demand Response services is expected to be fully expended by mid-May.

This program has allowed us to provide expanded transportation access within our community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve so many of our residents through this funding.

What this means moving forward:

Once 5310 funds are exhausted, Urban Demand Response service will be limited to individuals who are ADA-certified and have approved authorization under Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines.

Riders who qualify under ADA will continue to receive service for the standard 2$ per trip.

If you are age 60 or over, the Area Agency on Aging may be able to help provide some financial assistance for transportation services. Please email [email protected] or call 325-944-9666 to submit a request.

Through our Texas Veterans (TVC) grant, transportation services are available for eligible veterans and their spouses. This can also serve as an alternative.

We understand this change may impact many of our riders, and we encourage anyone who believes they may qualify for ADA service or TVC to contact our office forassistance with the certification process.

Due to expected severe weather, including the potential for tornadoes and large hail, Concho Valley Transit District (CVT) will suspend Ram Tram service this evening. CVT may temporarily suspended route service should the need arise this afternoon.

The safety of our passengers, drivers, and community is our top priority. Service will resume once conditions are safe.

CVT is excited to announce the addition of Spare A.I. for booking trips on our local urban demand response service. This new technology is a game changer, making it easier and more convenient than ever to book your trips.

As we continue testing and fine-tuning this new system, riders may still book trips with a dispatcher if needed. Our goal is to improve your experience while ensuring a smooth transition for everyone.
