My Story
Hey there, I’m Aleta Pritchard. I would describe myself as a passionate, creative entrepreneur. Most days you will find me sitting at a desk work diligently away all while daydreaming of my next vacation. My name is somewhat unique, and many people wonder if there is a story behind it. Of course, there is my dad named me after one of his favorite comics Prince Valiant with Queen Aleta. I am a creative entrepreneur with Adult ADD in hopes that one day I will empower myself to build my own business, create the most beautiful life for my family and create my own financial freedom. I hope to inspire and encourage people to do what they love by providing my behind the scenes look as an aspiring entrepreneur creating a non-profit organization. Together we will embark on this creative journey!
The things that I am most passionate about are creating purpose with my charitable organization and being able to work creatively, adventuring around the world, and spending time with my family. My blog is for go-getters who are totally into travel and adventuring but also relatable to the novias who is trying to research and learn. I hope everyone is inspired to confidently take risks, travel to new places, and do what they LOVE!
When I’m not busy working on the blog or my many other projects, you can catch me roaming around the mountains and trails of the Pacific Northwest with my family and dogs. I love trying new restaurants and eating different foods from many regions. If I am kicking back, I like to watch Netflix. Are you dying to know more about me? Here are few interesting tidbits about me: Marriage is not for me but I am in love with my partner, Rob. We have been together for over 13 years. I created and run a successful Holiday Gift Drive for the past few years that delivers gifts to local homeless children and adults in my community. Over the past 4 years Giving Back Sammamish has gifted 139 local homeless individuals including 29 children for the Holidays. I am part Japanese and took Kabuki lessons (traditional Japanese dancing) for over 14 years and loved performing. My ultimate goal is to build a business and create my own financial freedom while adventuring to new places!
