Another successful pour under our belt today!

The reason for so many pours is it’s required by the engineer to only pour 2ft of elevation at a time. The concrete is so thick and wide that it has to be poured in lifts to allow proper time to cure. We are thankfully down to just one more lift, and then the finished surface pour. This is a very labor intensive, technical project, but we are blessed to have the talent within our crew to knock this job out!!💪💪💪

Location is also extremely challenging dow Hemlock Falls. Each pour requires the trucks to navigate a narrow dangerous road, then 550’ of hose down a very steep mountain, and then a large pump setup to get the concrete to the final destination. All of this is taken down and then done again with each pour…😳

This is a tough site to say the least, but we are making it look good, and it will last forever.🇺🇸

These are tricky as you can’t rely upon the other side of the wall form to balance the pressure. You can’t have too many braces in this kind of pour!💪💪💪
