We are incredibly grateful for the recognition and kind words from our partners at Montana State Library. At the recent Montanans for Libraries Montana Library Association Conference, the Courier Program was honored as 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫, and the stories behind that award mean everything to us.

📚 “Access to a collection of books from nearly every corner of Montana is a testament to the success of the Courier Service.” Families who’ve read every book on their local shelves can keep curiosity and a love of reading alive through shared collections statewide.

📊 In 2024 alone, 420,000+ items across 19 libraries were moved, delivering nearly 17,000 crates and over half a million pounds of books. When Great Falls Public Library joined the program, interlibrary sharing jumped 4,688% in just one year - “that is what access looks like when barriers come down."

"The courier has been transformative for the Great Falls Public Library, opening the door to access materials, expanding our reach, and allowing us to offer engaging resources to the community - an opportunity that is truly invaluable."
