So on June 12th I celebrated 25 yrs on the job with RWBT (R. Wayne Bost Trucking). 1/2 my life has been spent at one employer. I've seen a lot of comings and goings, lots of changes and made a ton of lifelong friends. I even worked while having a broken knee cap back in 2001 on crutches and now can add that I worked in the office through the 2020 pandemic not missing a day during it. I started in trucking while I was still in high school (family owned company) and ended up working for a trucking company - so trucking is all I know. Here's hoping for 25 more.......well we will see LOL. 🤣🤔🤪

Our Story

1961: R. Wayne Bost Trucking started with one used tandem dump truck working with Paul M. Bost Trucking of Rockwell, NC.

1962: RWB traded for one new tandem dump truck and in the next several years added two more new tandem dumps and used tractor trailer dumps. We worked in this type of business for seven years.

1968: RWB trip leased tractors and trailers to Maybelle Transport Company of Lexington, NC to haul highway salt. After about six months, we signed a continuous lease agreement and started pulling mostly dry bulk tankers, hauling cement. We later hauled molten aluminum, commercial and edible salt, fertilizer, various liquid products and fuel products. Maybelle Transport Company was later bought out by Fleet Transport Company of Nashville, TN.

1977: RWB cancelled its contract with Fleet Transport Company and signed a contract with O’Boyle Tank Lines, Inc., of Rockville, MD. We had six tractors at this time.
