The TiKiTime

In May of 2019 Capt Scott Paz went to his patient, loving wife Karen and said “I have an idea!” If you know Scott, you know that once he has an idea he’s like a dog with a bone. If you know Karen, you know that she takes a breath, shakes her head, smiles and says “I’m in”. Scott and Karen decided to design and and build a Tiki Hut Boat.

Scott and longtime friend, Rob Montminy of Montminy Construction, spent 6 weeks building the TiKiTime at Fred J Dion Yacht yard in Salem, MA. Karen (when not painting the boat and helping at Dion’s) worked behind the scenes creating the website, applying for licensing, and tackling social media.

Captain Scott Paz holds a USCG 50T Master license. He has been fishing these waters both commercially and recreationally for over 35 years. Karen is a Medical Assistant at a local dermatology office. They reside in Peabody, MA and are excited to be a part of the Salem, MA business community.
