Minnesota Public Transit Association The Minnesota Public Transit Association (MPTA) is a coalition of transit related entities that pro MPTA is the only coalition of transit systems in Minnesota.

It advocates on behalf of transit activities while providing the latest information on transit issues. In-depth research on key issues is a focus along with hosting networking opportunities through training sessions and conferences. The Annual Minnesota Public Transit Conference and the Minnesota Bus "Roadeo" are two major events coordinated and promoted by the association.

Great Opportunity! Supplemental Transit Services RFP – Eden Prairie, MN
SouthWest Transit is requesting proposals from qualified providers for supplemental transit services during the Minnesota State Fair for the years 2026-2028. The selected vendor will supply buses and drivers to transport riders between designated Park & Ride locations and the State Fair Transit Hub. Services are required for all 12 days of each fair, with training prior to service.
