In celebration of his 25 years with the city there is an open house from 1-3pm today at the fire station on Broad street.

Customer came in with a boat he inherited from a family member who passed away.
He wanted a new mooring cover. He found the original receipt. My Opa (Anton)(who was the founder of Peerless Canvas) fabricated the original cover in 1975.
Noah Wesley, who is 4th generation, fabricated the new cover.
Original cover was fabricated with pearl grey canvas. The new cover was fabricated with Weathermax 80.

Last winter cover installed! Summer boating season is officially over!

Today we had to say goodbye to our four legged shop greeter. Copper became ill on Tuesday and was seen by the vet the same day. After having test done a mass was discovered on his spleen that had ruptured.
Some treatments were done to see how he would do the next day or two. Copper’s health declined rather quickly and the toughest decision had to be made about his care. We struggled to say our goodbyes to him knowing we could never replace the love he had for us all.
Copper greeted everyone with a wagging tail expecting to be petted by each person that entered the shop. His excitement at the shop was exactly how he was at home. He sat on his porch and had to let the neighbors know he was home and on watch.
When children were around he was a gentle giant being very careful around them and would sleep in their room while they stayed.
I could continue with many great qualities and memories about Copper but this post is already too long.
We know he isn’t suffering anymore and our hearts will forever be grateful for the time we had together with him. 8 and a half years ago is when this fluff ball grabbed our hearts for a lifetime ❤️💔😭
