SERVING WITH EXCELLENCE: It’s so awesome to see leaders put their words into action. Sheriff Hardwick constantly tells us to do the right thing when no one is looking and today is an example of just that!

Earlier today, this elderly gentleman was having a hard time finding his dentist office. Without hesitation, Sheriff Hardwick stepped in and escorted him into the building.

We recently learned that our Facebook appointments weren’t syncing with our Square appointments - which is how we manage our calendar and transactions. At this time we’ve removed the Facebook appointment option and ask that if you are looking to book a ride, please message us or click on the Book Now button, which is linked to our Square.

We are in the process of sending out additional confirmations to our booked rides for the month of March - if you booked and don’t receive a confirmation, please let us know!

Heads up - SJCSO will be out and about this weekend. As always, please consider us to provide safe transportation to and from your outings.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with The Florida Highway Patrol and St. Augustine Police Department will conduct a DUI Wolf Pack operation. They will maintain a proactive profile over the weekend on the highly-traveled roadways of St. Johns County.

The operation will begin at 6 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022, and continue until 4 a.m., Saturday, February 19, 2022.

The operation is part of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office on-going commitment to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage associated with traffic crashes related to impaired driving. The goal of the Wolf Pack is to educate people and create public awareness about the dangers of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and any chemical or controlled substances.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.), will be supporting law enforcement during the operation.

Never drink and drive, instead take the following steps to have a safe weekend:

• Plan a designated driver or a safe way home ahead of time.
• If you are impaired, call a taxi or ride-sharing service, or call a sober friend/family member to get you home safely.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office will continue DUI enforcement throughout the year.
