Dogs are one of the most resilient beings that walk this earth, and although their strength is admirable their loyalty often results in a disastrous reality.

Nellie knew no different than to wonder the streets of Texas. It’s how she had always lived her life. The humans that were responsible for her well being thought it was perfectly fine to let dogs wander, after all it’s just “dogs being dogs”. All that wandering led to the inevitable, Nellie pregnant. Either unknowing or unwilling to take responsibility of the situation Nellie continued to roam the streets as a stray. Up until this point Nellie had avoided the traffic, but one concerned citizen knew it was only a matter of time until Nellie’s luck ran out.

Displaying her sweet and submissive demeanor Nellie happily jumped into the strangers car. It was almost as though she was relieved to finally be safe and secure. After weeks of searching for her humans it became evident that they did not want her back. Nellie quickly settled into her foster home with other pups.

Now this girl is looking for a home sweet home of her very own. Nellie is a playful pup that would certainly love a canine sibling. Although she is a young adult her energy level is not as exuberant as a puppy. This girl loves to please her people, go for car rides, and play with her canine friends. She seems to have knowledge of basic skills such as house and crate training. Living in a home and manners have come quite easily to her.
