How many photographs can be found in one place?
More than we often realize.
Stay with a scene. Watch the light change. Move your position. Look closer. Isolate a detail. Each decision can lead to a completely different photograph.
This is part of what we'll explore together during the Saint Augustine Photography Workshop — not simply where to photograph, but how to keep looking once you've arrived.
And the process doesn't necessarily end when the photograph is made. We'll also review our images together and explore how thoughtful editing can strengthen what you intended to create.

I knew what caught my attention here—the warm glow of the lantern against the evening light, the old sign, and the character of this little Saint Augustine street.
Editing wasn't about changing the scene. It was about bringing the finished photograph closer to what I saw and felt when I made it.
During the Saint Augustine Photography Workshop, we'll review photographs together and explore how thoughtful editing can strengthen what you created in the field.
