2 Gerows on the go

The Gerow’s have been busy since we got to Camp Happy Jack! Cutting up deer, making tomato paste, getting ready for bow and r***e hunting seasons, fixing a heat exchange coil, working on some quilting projects, while Bo has been trying to make friends with the local black and white “kitties” (🦨). Of course, Kyle can’t smell skunk so it doesn’t bother him at all. He has already had one Dawn dish soap and hydrogen peroxide bath, but still smells of skunk. Tomorrow he is getting a bath in Summers Eve douches because that is supposed to remove 🦨 skunk smell. Will let you know the results

A little pancreatitis attack for Kyle on Monday night. He is feeling much better now and possibly being released tomorrow morning. He would love to hear from any of you because he is bored out of his mind. 803-840-1293

While Kyle is hanging out at the hospital, Tammy had work to do. Wore my pink hard hat all day, managed to hook up the trailer by myself, back the mower on the trailer, even backed the trailer back into its spot. Only took 8 tries, but I got it! Now for a shower and a visit to Kyle.

Another busy week! Michigan weather was brutal last week! Hot! Hot! Hot, especially for Michigan! The Gerow’s did trail maintenance and mowed trails, placed markers for new sign posts, and sprayed herbicide for invasive weeds on the refuge.
