Reggio Calabria is a beautiful coastal city in Southern Italy, just across the Strait of Messina from Sicily. Ferries reach Messina in about 30 minutes, making it easy to visit both regions.
The city is rich in art, history, and culture and is home to the famous Riace Bronzes, extraordinary ancient Greek statues dating back to the 5th century BC. It also offers a beautiful waterfront, Mediterranean beaches, historic architecture, and excellent Calabrian food.
With its mix of culture, sea, and great food, Reggio Calabria is definitely worth discovering.
