Following months of advocacy led by the California Transit Association and over 80 coalition members, the Legislature has taken final action on AB 113. The bill secures supplemental investments for the SB 125 program and key GGRF Tier 3 programs facing major funding cuts this year.

However, work remains to address underfunded Tier 3 programs and secure sustainable, long-term transit investments to keep Californians moving.

More than 80 organizations are coming together to protect the investments that make California more affordable, accessible, and sustainable.

We appreciate the Senate’s leadership in proposing supplemental funding for critical Tier 3 programs. At the same time, more work remains to fully fund affordable housing and transit and uphold the commitments made last year.

Our coalition is ready to work with state leaders on a long-term solution that protects these investments—and the Californians who depend on them.
