Our mission is to provide safe, friendly and reliable transportation to the citizens and visitors of Person County utilizing the most efficient manner possible to increase mobility and support a livable community. There will be no regular service or Shuttle service on Monday, February 16, 2026. Riders going to dialysis will still have their rides at the scheduled time.

PATS will start regular service at 8:00 and Shuttle service at 9:00 on Thursday February 5, 2026

PATS will start operating at 8:00 on Tuesday February 3rd. The Uptown Shuttle will begin operation at 9:00 with the first stop at the courthouse.

PATS will delay the start of services on Thursday, January 29th until 8:00 am. The Uptown Shuttle will start at 9:00 with the first stop at the Courthouse.

PATS will delay the start of services until 8:00 am.

For Tuesday 1/27/26 PATS will open at noon. All morning rides have been cancelled. There will no morning shuttle. If there are any changes we will post them here.

All of PATS services have been canceled for Monday, January 26th. This includes demand response, Roxboro Uptown Shuttle, and dialysis patients. We will update Tuesday's schedule on Monday.

UPDATE: The Warming Center/Shelter will close at Noon on Monday, January 26. All individuals who utilized the facility during the winter storm have returned home or made other accommodations. THANK YOU to all who made this shelter possible for our community.

We are very grateful for our community partners and Warren's Grove Methodist Church for their commitment to opening a Warming Center starting Saturday, January 24 at Noon.

PETS: Pets are not allowed inside the church buildings; however, we will have a specially equipped heated trailer staffed by Person County Animal Services co-located on the church property. If you do visit the center with small pets, you must have their vaccination records, pet food and any necessary medications. If the pet trailer reaches capacity, pets will be transferred to the Person County Animal Services shelter which will also be staffed.
