The ticket price goes up $10 on June 1st, so if you’re going to the biggest celebration in Montana you need to purchase your adult tickets now. Your ticket will get you a wristband at the entrance gate, and that wristband will get you into both evening shows on July 4th and 5th at the Roundup Outdoor Stage.
Some of the greatest stage performers we ever had are booked for the 2025 edition of RIDE. Wyoming singer-songwriter Chancey Williams has the distinction of being one of only two cowboys to have competed in the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, and performed on the main stage. The other cowboy was the great Chris LeDoux. Williams is from Moorcroft, Wyoming. He was a successful saddle bronc rider on the circuit, and then his career path changed to music. Before Chancey went solo, he was a member of the Younger Brothers Band. They had a good regional run. In the fall of 2013, Williams signed with HomeSlice Artist Management. He has released 5 studio albums. His latest single is called “Take One ForThe Team”. Just a couple of weeks ago he made his fifth appearance on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Chancey Williams will open the show as part of a doubleheader headliner on Friday, July 4th at the Roundup City Stage at 7pm.
Neal McCoy is one of country music’s greatest showmen. He hit the charts in the early 90’s. He had two #1 singles back to back with “No Doubt About It” and “Wink”. The album that contained those hits went platinum. He later had two more platinum albums and a gold album, as well as six more top 10 hits He will follow Chancey Williams on July 4th. There’s not a better performer touring today, and he’s a tremendous ambassador for America. The best fireworks show in Montana by the Roundup Skylighters, Perella’s Fireworks, and Montana Poor Boy Pyrotechnics follows the Neal McCoy show.
The morning of the 4th starts off with the annual Bird Walk at 7am at the Riverwalk. At 9am the Mimosa Mile will be at the Roundup City Stage. It gets bigger every year. There’s a $10 fee with RIDE ticket. Otherwise, it’s $20. All participants get a souvenir to take home.
Saturday, July 5th local singer-songwriter Mallory Morgan will open the evening show. She’s a recent graduate of Roundup High School. She has performed at various venues and is a favorite around the area. Jason Larson has been taking the stage at RIDE for over 10 years. He is always a crowd favorite, and he knows how to deliver a great performance. He’ll follow Mallory Morgan.
The headliner on the Saturday evening show is one of the hottest new country acts out of Nashville. Conner Smith released a song in late 2021 called “I Hate Alabama”, which went viral on Tik Tok. The success of that song got him a deal with Big Machine Records. An album followed called Didn’t Go Too Far in 2022. The project’s lead single “Learn From It” made the top 40 on Billboard Country Airplay. The second single ”Take It Slow” was released in early 2023, and was certified Gold by the RIAA. The label released “Creek Will Rise” in 2023, and became his first top 20 hit. It served as the lead single to his studio album, Smoky Mountains, which was released on January 26, 2024. On March 10, 2024 “Creek Will Rise” became a #1 hit on the UK Country Airplay chart. Conner Smith will rock the joint. He is a dynamite performer who loves to get the crowd going. His label recently dropped his new single called “Country In The Clouds”, and it’s climbing the charts.
