Today we had such an honor to attend a wedding in Georgetown for a very dear friend. Christy and Chris got married today and it was wonderful to be there to enjoy the festivities. Over the years both Christy has been huge supporter of Stay at Home Dad Mover. Chris has also been a wonderful friend and I am so glad they got married today. Thank you for inviting us out today.

The S@HDM Crew hit the road again! 🚚💨

This time, we helped a previous customer move her mom into her new home in Tupelo, Mississippi—a 735-mile trek from Central Texas.
For this Senior Living Transition, we packed and carefully loaded her belongings, then stacked that truck like a game of Tetris. 🧩🚛
Thanks to some expert packing and a whole lot of care, everything arrived safe and sound.

But we weren’t done when the truck was empty.

The S@HDM Crew helped turn her mom’s new place into a home—setting up furniture, doing some light decorating, and hanging pictures. Because moving isn’t just about getting stuff from Point A to Point B. It’s about helping people feel at home wherever Point B happens to be. ❤️

And, of course, we had to make a little time for ourselves!

While in Tupelo, we stopped by the birthplace of The King of Rock ’n’ Roll, Elvis Presley. 🎸👑

The S@HDM Crew woke up to a deluge of rain this morning.

But around here, it’s rain or shine... (okay, maybe not ice 😅), we’re still out moving and shaking.

Our policy is simple: We’ll move at your comfort level.

If the rain is coming down too hard, we’ll stop the clock and wait for it to pass. It may make the move a little longer, but protecting your belongings always comes first.

If you’d rather keep moving, we’ll carefully cover your furniture and boxes and keep working as quickly—and safely—as possible.
And in those rare cases where Mother Nature just won’t cooperate, we’ll happily reschedule your move with no penalty to you.
Moving is stressful enough. The weather shouldn’t make it worse.

Stay safe, stay dry, and if you need a hand, the S@HDM Crew is here to help.

Moving furniture and hauling junk may not be a dream job, but a great team can make any job rewarding.

Today was hot, humid, and challenging. Our customer had more belongings than their PODS could hold, and some heavy pieces required extra care and effort.

But what made the day was the team.

We knew the mission.

We knew our roles.

We kept a positive attitude.

We turned up the music.

And we worked together.

In the end, we got the job done, earned a nice tip, and enjoyed the satisfaction of helping someone move forward.

The S@HDM Crew was back on the road again — this time helping one of our seniors start a brand new chapter with a SENIOR LIVING TRANSITION all the way to Oakland, California.

A huge shoutout to Caring Transitions of Austin for doing an outstanding job packing everything up and getting it ready for the journey. Once the baton was passed, the S@HDM Crew got to work wrapping antique furniture, protecting family heirlooms, and stacking that truck tighter than grandma’s Tupperware cabinet.

Our stacker made sure every piece was tied down snug for the 1,749-mile trek so nothing shifted, rattled, or moved an inch along the way.
And because we know moving across the country can already feel stressful enough, we handled this move with a flat-rate price — no surprise charges, no funny business, and no scary final bill waiting at the destination.

All our customer had to worry about was telling us where she wanted everything placed so her new house could feel like home from Day One.
