While October is Relationship Abuse Awareness month, we chose Wellspring for our September charity so we could give back to this organization ahead of their Wellspring One Campaign, kicking off tomorrow, October 1st.

For over 40 years, Wellspring has supported survivors of relationship and sexual abuse. They support survivors by providing emergency shelter, a 24-hour hotline and live chat, counseling, long-term housing assistance, case management and so much more. All services are free, non-judgmental and confidential. To help spread awareness and promote social change, their advocates work directly with the community through educational and prevention programs as well as a variety of free wellness programs.

Happy Fall, Y'all! 🍁🍂

Today is officially the first day of autumn, so of course we had to celebrate in appropriate fall fashion with apple c***r donuts from Lakeside Farms for the office!

We also created our own version of a pumpkin patch where employees could find their name tag and pick a pumpkin color to decorate their desk for the season.

We take holidays very seriously around here at TBGFS, so this is just a taste of what we have in store for the upcoming holiday season—stay tuned! 👀🍂🎃

As summer comes to a close and school starts back up after Labor Day, we are proud to support a local organization that does so much for our community: Franklin Community Center!

For over 40 years, FCC has been a steadfast pillar as a family resource center for the Saratoga community, providing a diverse range of services to assist those in need and connecting those in need to the appropriate resources. Their services include a food panty, a distribution center for clothing and household goods, Project Lift after-school program, and much more. In addition to our donation, we also collected back to school items to donate to their school supply drive so students in Saratoga County have the resources they need to have a successful school year!

We typically post our charity of the month updates on the last day of the month, but for July, we're helping spread the word about a local event to help a family in need. 🩵

Theo Laffer, son of Steve Laffer, was recently diagnosed with Niemann-Pick disease type C (NPC), also known as “Childhood Alzheimer’s”, an ultra-rare and incurable genetic disease that affects only 0.000667% of people. NPC tragically causes a steady loss of motor skills, speech, and memory, and requires specialized medical care that comes with massive financial hurdles.

Steve and his family are local to the Capital Region, and he has worked at Lia Nissan of Saratoga for over a decade. To help support the Laffer Family, Lia Nissan is hosting their annual Car Show tomorrow, July 18th, as a fundraiser to help with medical expenses and help them find the right path through this unimaginable time. In solidarity with Theo and the Laffer Family, our proceeds from this months raffle will go directly to the Laffer Family to help with medical expenses and Theo's quality of life.

Brian always starts his day showing up early, ready to give each day all he's got with a positive attitude and go-getter mindset! He is never afraid to take on the more difficult and challenging tasks, always willing to learn, help others, and won't stop until he finds a solution to any and all situations that come across his desk.
