🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the freedom, resilience, and determination that make this country strong.

A special thank you to the professional truck drivers who keep America moving—even on holidays. Your dedication helps deliver the food, medicine, and everyday essentials that families rely on.

Wishing everyone a safe, joyful, and memorable Fourth of July!

After 13 years in trucking, I've noticed something interesting.

Drivers can find fuel, parking, showers, restaurants, and repair shops almost anywhere.

What is often missing is a place to take care of their health.

Many drivers spend 10-11 hours behind the wheel each day. Even those who want to stay active may struggle to find safe and convenient places to exercise.

I wonder if the next evolution of truck stops will include fitness centers designed specifically for professional drivers.

A healthier driver is often a happier, safer, and more productive driver.

Would you use a gym at a truck stop if one was available?

After 13 years in trucking, I’ve learned something important.

We often talk about freight, equipment, rates, and delivery times.

But behind every load is a person.

Drivers spend long hours on the road, away from their families, navigating traffic, weather, delays, and uncertainty to keep goods moving across the country.

Their work impacts every part of our economy.

As an industry, we focus heavily on safety, productivity, and efficiency—and rightfully so. But I also believe we should continue finding ways to support driver health, well-being, and quality of life.

Because taking care of freight is important.

Taking care of the people moving it is important too.

This weekend we remember those who gave everything for this country. 🇺🇸

At BL Quality Trans Inc., we are grateful, we remember, and we honor those who made our freedom possible.

Yesterday, one of our drivers needed:
• an early morning load
• time to stop in Illinois for a few hours
• and still wanted a strong-paying run

We made it happen.

Another driver needs to be home during the week to take care of his mom.
Another one wants to be home every weekend.

We don’t see these as limitations.
We see them as priorities.

So we plan around them — while still maximizing revenue.

So far during DOT Week, we’ve noticed faster loading and unloading times from many shippers and receivers, which helped reduce driver wait times and improve on-time deliveries. Curious if other carriers and drivers are experiencing the same this week?

Wishing all drivers a safe and stress-free week out there. 🚛
