Sistema Huautla is the deepest cave in the Americas, the 8th deepest cave in the world, and the longest of the 17 deepest caves in the world. It was the first cave outside of Europe to be explored to over 1,000 meters deep. It is 72 km long (44 miles), and 1,544 meters deep (5,068 feet).

39th Annual TAG Fall Cave-In, October 6th-9th, 2016
So what - you may ask - is this Cave-In we hear so much about? Well, The TAG Fall Cave-In is a caving and social event held annually in October in the heart of TAG. It is the Dogwood City Grotto's primary fund raiser to support caving and caving related activities.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - It takes months of planning and hours of volunteer effort to put on a premier event. Many dedicated folks assume staff positions year after year, but we are always looking for new people to step in, learn the ropes and bring new enthusiaum and ideas. If you always wanted to be part of the Cave-In staff or have questions about where help is needed please reach out to me at [email protected].
T-SHIRT IDEAS WELCOME - Ok all you creative people out there! I am soliciting ideas for the design of this year's 39th Annual TAG Fall Cave-In T-shirt! I know someone somewhere has an inspiration for a design that would look great on our Cave-In shirt, so please submit any and all ideas to me at [email protected].
