Job Title: Beverage Merchandiser
As a Beverage Merchandiser
This person will be working with sales and delivery people to provide exceptional customer service to our customers. Ensuring all our product meet the standards of Hohensteins Inc. and assigned accounts. When assigned you will be serving as a backup for salespeople coordinating activities to accomplish mutual objectives. Conducting special deliveries when assigned.
In-house:
• Verifying receipts, tracking outgoing and maintaining the organization of all points of sale.
• Working with merchandise manager to maintain an adequate supply of point-of-sale materials, coordinated and introduce new materials and eliminate out of date materials
• Assist in the assembly of POS items as requested
Warehouse:
• Follow assigned account merchandising schedule and notify merchandise manager if duties can not be accomplished as scheduled
• POS is current and used in the proper manner
• Assist delivery driver with delivery, rotation of product, and merchandising of products per account
• Monitor and collect unused tap handles and special-order items per assigned brands
• On-sale accounts may have to repair minor draught systems problems when needed
• Off-sale accounts, build merchandise, front and face bottles/cans, and sign displays as directed by the merchandise manager or salesperson
Retail Sales:
• Maintain a positive working relationship with owners, manager, and employees of your assigned account
• Assist with soliciting orders from retailers as needed
• Off-sale accounts, work with assigned accounts to improve our company placement of floor displays
• Report coding date concerns to merchandise manager
• Report and concerns and/or complaints to merchandise manager
• Participate in daily sales meetings and share information that will benefit the sales of the company with others
To set you up for success on this position you must have at a minimum
• Possess a Current and Valid driver license
• High School Diploma or the equivalent of
• One (1) year in sales
Would be helpful for this position
• First Level of Cicerone Certification or will obtain with in six (6) months
• Retail sale background
• On and Off Sale knowledge
