Position: Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

We’re a fast-paced, growing company in the transportation industry, dedicated to delivering efficient and reliable service across the US. We are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with solid QuickBooks experience to join our back-office team.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, skilled in multitasking, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. You’ll play a key role in managing financial records, supporting dispatch and driver operations, and keeping the back office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations using QuickBooks
Maintain and update financial records for loads, fuel expenses, and driver settlements
Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and invoicing
Support dispatch and operations teams with documentation and scheduling
Organize BOLs, fuel receipts, and compliance paperwork
Manage internal filing systems (digital and physical)
Answer calls, manage office emails, and assist with other general administrative tasks
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and business information
Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience with financial reconciliation
Familiarity with the transportation or logistics industry is a strong plus
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
Comfortable handling fast-moving environments and shifting priorities
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Prior administrative or bookkeeping experience required.
