Welcome to Sunday, August 30th, 2026. Your daily conditions are as follows.

Scattered showers and storms. Severe weather is not anticipated, but with all the opportunities for thunder throughout the day, it may be noisy. It won't rain all day, but for those trying to get in some late-weekend outdoor activities, you'll need to keep a close eye on the radar to avoid the heavier storms. Temperatures will be around 80°F for much of southern Michigan, 70s to the north. Of note, some locations may be cooler than shown due to rain showers creating cold pools. Gusty winds over 35 mph are possible today, especially north of I-94, and south of M-55 in the Lower Peninsula. This will cause some very poor swimming conditions along Lake Michigan where beach hazard statements are in effect.

Showers and storms will continue overnight (scattered in nature) into Monday, Tuesday, and potentially Wednesday.
