The Montana Co-op is a consumer and producer owned cooperative not-for-profit dedicated to producing and consuming more local food and Montana made products. The Montana Co-op will be working closely with each consumer member to promote buying local and work with each producer to provide more to meet the high demand. The Montana Co-op’s Mission is: Bringing together consumers and producers to cre

ate easy access to local, nutritious, and affordable food and Montana made products while promoting a sustainable, nurturing, and thriving community. The Montana's big picture goal is to set up a group of food hubs (one in every community on the reservation, then all of MT) that work together to build our local food production, sales, and distribution. Locally produced food is healthier for our bodies, creates many long-term jobs, and gives us food security in case of man-made or natural disasters. The Montana Co-op opened the first example of a Montana Co-op "community focused" food hub downtown Polson in 2013 (this location is on hold until we can find a group to partner with and purchase the building and land. Our next example of a Food HUB will be in Pablo, MT.... more details coming soon on this 26 acre property. The Kids Co-op (501(c)(3) non-profit is an organization managed, and worked by the youth (millennials - ages 30ish and under). Several product and service industries operate in a cooperative business model under the Kids Co-op brand.

Our Tamales are all frozen in packages of 12 - lots of sales going on this weekend at the Montana Co-op site at the Red Poppy building in Ronan, MT. Lots of great deals and high quality furniture.

Last weekend for the sidewalk sale and store liquidation at the former Red Poppy building. 1 Eisenhower, Ronan. HOT TAMALES, as well as bulk by the dozen frozen will be available all day, starting at 11am! New items added daily. Kitchen, bath, tools, office and home furniture, fine art and craft, bodycare, gifts, Mother's Day gifts, garden, Azure standard food, misc. Everything must go!!!

Hello Polson/Ronan friends... we have been busy for several years preparing the Red Poppy building in Ronan to be that community HUB. Most people have no idea what is going on here... so, please allow me to share... everything you can remember the Red Poppy being in the past, it is now that and more. We're open to more participating leaders in any of the following:
- A grocery store with special emphasis on local, Montana made products including organic food access at the best prices. This is a small store with the much more product available on the online farmers market store with 7 categories of Made-in-Montana products (www.MontanaCoop.com). Contact us if you make anything that we can market and sell together!
- A restaurant inside with a permanent stage with a large open floor plan. Planning dinner/theater events, concerts, live poker tournaments with 50% going to charity, and other personal and business networking opportunities.
- An outdoor food truck court with 4+ food trucks year round.
- Art classes in abundance (Music, Pottery, Painting, Gardening, Cooking, etc.).
- An outdoor garden that provides most of the vegetables for the restaurant (The Nutrition Kitchen).
- A health clinic with coaching and retreat services.
- Spaces for short/long term rental or temporary office usage.

Lastly, the Red Poppy building is for sale and we need investors willing to help keep everything moving forward in a good way! The Kids Co-op is our associated nonprofit organization performing many community and youth focused programs that is making the world a better place!
