For some consumer safety education 📚 this is why when you are passing a semi, you should pass it as quickly as you can safely within the speed limit 🚨
KNOW THE NO-ZONES: Semi-trucks have four large blind spots or “no zones” – at the front, rear, and both sides of the trailer. Driving in these areas can be dangerous, as truck drivers might not see you. Follow these tips:
🚛Stay out of blind spots
🚛Never cut in front of a truck – stay at least 20 feet ahead of trucks
🚛Stay 200 feet or more behind trucks
🚛Avoid passing trucks on the right side
Remember, if you can't see the truck driver’s face in the truck’s mirrors, then the driver can’t see you.
