A Hensley customer recently shared this personal experience with us:

“On our way back home from Fl. in April driving a three quarter ton HD, towing a thirty four foot trailer. We lost the right rear tire and wheel from the truck. Causing the truck to pull to the left as the wheel loosened and me trying to keep it straight. Then the tire and wheel came off putting me into a jackknife right into the guardrail. The hitch kept the truck and trailer from me losing control up till the jackknife. The tow guy was sure that the hitch was a major factor of me not flipping over. He seen a lots of accidents that was a lot worse and was glad to see me standing. My wife was in the car behind me and can confirm that the hitch was a major part of me walking out of the truck. So in our words it did (the hitch) what it was made for. And I will put it on the next trailer."

Stories like this remind us why we do what we do. Behind every truck and trailer are people, families, and memories still to be made. Hearing what his hitch meant to him in such a frightening moment is something we take to heart.

We’re so relieved he was able to walk away and grateful he shared his story with us. We wish him and his wife many more safe miles and happy memories ahead.

"I am happy to tell you the Hensley for me is the best sway elimination hitch ever! I tow a 38' bumper tow Rv. And it was a white-knuckle handful prior to me purchasing the Hensley. This past week I made a 10-hour trip across the Nevada desert, where the speed limit is 70 and 80 MPH and the trucks are traveling the same speeds and the Hensley handled it like a pro no sway at all. It was easy to install, and as advertised, it eliminated 100% of my sway issues. The best RV purchase I have made and is worth every penny.
