Things I’ll never apologize for:

✨ Planning the trip.
✨ Taking the trip.
✨ Planning the next trip before I’ve unpacked from the last one.
✨ Buying the ears.
✨ Taking way too many castle photos.
✨ Taking a midday pool break instead of “maximizing every second.”
✨ Ordering the snack.
✨ Getting the souvenir.
✨ Spending money on memories instead of more stuff.

And as a travel advisor…

✨ I’ll never apologize for telling a client NOT to spend more money than they need to.
✨ I’ll never apologize for recommending the trip that’s right for your family instead of the one that’s trending on social media.
✨ I’ll never apologize for telling you to slow down and build in a rest day.
✨ I’ll never apologize for being brutally honest about what is and isn’t worth the extra cost.
✨ I’ll never apologize for treating your vacation budget like it’s my own.
✨ I’ll never apologize for getting ridiculously excited when my clients make lifelong memories.

I’m also never apologizing for being “too much.”

Too passionate.
Too excited.
Too invested.
Too magical.
Too Disney.
Too Universal.
Too obsessed with helping people travel better.

The truth is, I don’t sell vacations.

I sell the picture you’ll frame.
The story you’ll tell for years.
The laugh you’ll remember long after the credit card bill is paid.

So yes, I’ll wear the ears.
I’ll take care of the trip.
I’ll tell you when the upgrade isn’t worth it.
And I’ll absolutely celebrate your vacation like it’s my own.

Because life’s too short for someday, and I’m in the business of turning someday into confirmation numbers. ✨

What’s something you’ll never apologize for?

Let’s talk about the Disney Dining Plan.

I get asked about it all the time, and the honest answer is this: it’s not automatically a great fit for everyone.

It can be amazing, but only for the right kind of traveler.

So who is it actually good for?

The dining plan works really well for guests who:
• Want a true “all-inclusive” style vacation where most of the food is prepaid
• Plan to do a lot of sit-down meals or character dining experiences
• Don’t want to think about budgeting meals while they’re in the parks
• Enjoy snacks, treats, and want to use credits for fun extras like Mickey bars and specialty drinks
• Like structure and knowing what’s already covered before they arrive

For those guests, it can feel like a stress-free way to enjoy dining without constantly checking prices.

But here’s why I don’t recommend it for all of my clients:

For many families, it ends up being more food than they actually want or need. You’re often “spending” credits just to use them, even if you’re not hungry. It can also lock you into more time-consuming meals when some days you just want quick service and to get back to the fun.

It can also be less flexible for families who like to explore dining casually, share meals, or take the day as it comes.

And the biggest thing I see? Some people assume it will save them money, but depending on your dining style, it doesn’t always work out that way.

That’s why I don’t automatically add it to anyone’s package. I build it around how you actually vacation, not what sounds easiest on paper.

Sometimes the dining plan is a win. Sometimes paying as you go gives you more freedom and better value. My job is to help you figure out which one fits your trip, not sell you something you don’t need.

If you’ve ever wondered whether it’s worth it for your family, I’m happy to break it down for your exact trip and dining style.

Hot take: Sometimes Disneyland is the better choice for young families.

I recently told a client with little ones to skip Disney World and head to Disneyland instead.

Before the Disney World fans come for me, hear me out.

At Disneyland, everything is close. The two parks sit right across from each other, so you’re not spending precious vacation time on buses, boats, monorails, Skyliners, or marathon walks just to get where you want to go.

Need a midday break because someone skipped their nap? No problem. Many hotels are just a short walk from the parks, even off-property Good Neighbor hotels. You can be back in your room, recharge, and return to the magic without losing half your day.

And parents, you’ll appreciate this one: it’s practically a “never have to fold your stroller” destination. No constantly unloading kids, bags, snacks, and souvenirs to board transportation. Just park, stroll, and enjoy.

The weather is another huge win. While summer in Florida can feel like you’re walking through soup, Southern California tends to be much more comfortable with lower humidity and cooler evenings.

Plus, Disneyland packs an incredible amount of magic into a smaller footprint. Many of the attractions are closer together, making it easier for little legs and tired parents to navigate. Less walking means more rides, more snacks, and fewer meltdowns.

Disney World will always have its place. If you’re looking for four parks, water parks, resorts, and a longer vacation, it’s amazing.

But for families with young children who want convenience, flexibility, and a little less stress, Disneyland deserves a spot at the top of the list.

Sometimes the best vacation isn’t the biggest one. It’s the one that’s easiest for your family to enjoy.

Would you choose Disneyland or Disney World for your young kids? Tell me which side you’re on in the comments.

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈

One of the things I love most about both Disney and Universal is that they create spaces where people can show up as their authentic selves, celebrate who they are, and feel a sense of belonging.

The LGBTQIA+ community has helped shape the magic, creativity, and joy that so many of us experience in these parks every day. From the cast members and team members who bring the magic to life, to the guests creating unforgettable memories with the people they love, Pride is woven into the heart of these destinations.

As an ally, Pride Month is a reminder that everyone deserves to feel welcomed, celebrated, and seen. Travel has a unique way of bringing people together, and some of the most magical moments happen when we embrace and celebrate our differences.

This month, and every month, I celebrate love, acceptance, and the incredible LGBTQIA+ community that helps make both parks, and our world, a brighter place.

🌈 Everyone deserves a little magic.

How are you celebrating Pride this month? ❤️

Somewhere between school drop offs, work schedules, laundry piles, and remembering everyone else’s needs… we forget we’re allowed to need something too.

This is your sign to stop leaving the “what if we actually took that girls trip?” conversation sitting in the group chat.

Because one day turns into someday real fast.

Girls trips are more than matching shirts and margaritas. They’re laughing until your stomach hurts. They’re uninterrupted conversations. They’re remembering who you are outside of being “mom.” They’re making memories with the women who help you survive the chaos of everyday life.

The dishes will still be there.
The emails can wait.
Your kids will remember seeing you happy.

Book the trip.
Take the picture.
Say yes to the memories.

Because busy moms deserve magic too. ✨

Universal really looked at my bank account and said that’s cute. 💀

Because SINNERS has officially been announced for Halloween Horror Nights and once again, HHN is proving that one spooky little trip is never enough. 🔥🎃

The lineup keeps getting better, the screams keep getting louder, and my self-control is officially gone.

Who’s adding HHN to their fall plans? 👀🖤

05/20/2026

I do believe this means we getting our 2nd Halloween Horror Nights house announcement tomorrow. Speculations have been going wild! Stranger Things, Ozzy Osbourne tribute, Hellraiser, even Fortnite. What are you hoping to see?
