Drivers who have done this before know there is a reason behind every step, especially when it comes to securement and preparing the load the right way.

Having years of driving experience is valuable, but for Road Legends, recent and verifiable OTR experience matters.

Our current requirement is at least 2 years of verifiable CDL-A OTR experience within the last 3 years.

That means we look at:
When your OTR experience took place
Whether it falls within the most recent 3-year period
Whether it can be verified through your employment history

Recent local or home-daily experience does not automatically replace the recent OTR requirement.

If you are unsure whether you qualify, send your complete employment history to our recruiting team for review.

Stay tuned for the next video, where we’ll cover the experience required for flatbed applicants.

Before anything moves, it starts with reading the load, checking the setup, and knowing what needs attention first.
