Job Opening: Part-Time Driver and Dispatcher 🚎🚎🚎 Star Transit is looking for a part-time driver and dispatcher. While a CDL with a passenger endorsement is preferred, it is not a requirement. Starting pay is $15.45 an hr. The position requires working 18-24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30am to 6:00pm. GOOD NEWS WE JUST RECEIVED OUR COMMUNITY SERVICE BLOCK GRANT (CSBG) AND WE WILL NOW BE ABLE TO GIVE PEOPLE OUR DOOR TO DOOR PASSES ($75 VALUE) FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET THE INCOME REQUIREMENTS. WE WILL ONLY HAVE 10 PASSES A MONTH AND THEY WILL BE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. PLEASE COME TO OUR OFFICE 1471 DEWAR DRIVE IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU MEET THE REQUIRMENTS AND YOU RIDE OUR BUSSES. Starting February 23,2024 Star transit will be running on Fridays! We do ask you still call at least 24 hrs in advanced to get on a bus. Shuttles are still booking out at least a week, but call in the office and if we have availability or someone cancels we can get you on!
