Two wheels, endless monuments, and the ultimate DC core memory. 🚲🇺🇸✨

Happy World Bicycle Day! While bicycles are an amazing way to explore destinations all over the globe, today I’m thinking about one of my absolute favorite family travel traditions right here closer to home.

Whenever we visit Washington, D.C., our hands-down favorite thing to do is rent bikes and ride around the National Mall at night.

There is something completely magical about watching the crowds thin out, feeling the cool evening breeze, and seeing the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Capitol building completely lit up against the night sky.

(Here is a favorite throwback of my daughter and nephews doing exactly that! 📸❤️)

Whether you’re cycling through the historic streets of Europe or just cruising around your own neighborhood this summer, there’s nothing quite like the freedom of exploring the world on two wheels.

Today is an incredibly exciting travel day for a truly special, musical family client of mine. They aren’t just heading to Central Europe for a vacation; they are embarking on a beautifully curated, deep-dive cultural pilgrimage through the world's greatest musical capitals. 🏰✨

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage is a debt we can never fully repay, and their legacy is woven into the very fabric of the freedoms we enjoy today.
