Deprez Travel Partners is currently exploring, along with Galactic Experiences by Deprez, plans to expand with a new “satellite” office location, positioned just beyond Earth. This initiative represents the next evolution of our brand as we continue pushing boundaries in global, and soon, interstellar travel.

As part of this forward momentum, Just Cruises Inc. is evaluating a potential rebrand to Just Space Cruises Inc., aligning with early-stage developments across the cruise industry. Several major cruise lines are rumored to be investing heavily in space-faring vessels.

While nothing has been formally announced, we’ve heard whispers of concept ships already in development, including a name that recently “leaked” from Royal Caribbean:

Galaxy of the Sea of Tranquility

Early insights suggest these future voyages may include:
• Extended orbit stays with uninterrupted celestial views
• Docking experiences redefining what a “port of call” means
• A new era of all-inclusive travel—truly without limits

Of course, there are still a few minor logistics to sort out (gravity, propulsion, snacks), but innovation has always driven this industry forward—and we intend to lead from the front.

The Road to 700,000–THANK YOU: Sometime between last night and this morning, I passed the 700,000 follower mark here on my page. I wanted to say a big THANK YOU for the courtesy of your follow. Facebook tells me I’ve picked up about 12,000 of you in the last month. For those relatively new to my page, here’s a bit of the back story.

The top image, as fate would have it, is from 10 years ago today. It was my very last game covering the Buffalo Bills after a 30 year TV sports anchoring career—mostly based out of Rochester, NY. I was lucky enough to pretty much cover every Bills home and away game for nearly half my life. Tomorrow the Bills will play their last ever game there at old Rich Stadium before moving across the road to their new home in Orchard Park. Sports was my dream job since I was a kid growing up near Binghamton in tiny Hawleyton, NY. Covering the NFL led me to broader assignments—I covered 19 Super Bowl games, including many for stations across America—did other major events, too, as I took on some corporate roles assisting stations in our ownership group. A funny thing happened along the way. I became interested in photography a bit, often bringing a cheap camera with me to these games/events—snapping shots of anything other than the action I was there to cover. And I got into it. At the same time I was starting to see the shift in content consumption—folks were accessing information and entertainment in different ways. The legacy platforms were shedding viewers, listeners and readers—I wanted in when it came to social media.

I decided I wanted to leave sports and focus on digital content creation. And that’s where I am today. I started this page in July of 2016, applying the same work ethic that served me quite well in those sports days. I was known to arrive to work two hours early every day—I was all in. So when I switched my career trajectory, it was a major pivot and quite a risk. I went from a full-time TV job, to part-time for a few years before leaving altogether—all the while raising two daughters (Natalie and Caroline) with my wonderful wife, Charla. It worked out better than I could have ever imagined.

Fast forward to today. By now most of you know I enjoy nature, capturing videos and a few stills and telling uplifting stories. Waterfalls, lakes, rivers and streams, barns and trains, old cars and trucks—they all captivate me, lots of other things too. I enjoy weather-related content, perhaps a result of probably working with more Chief Meteorologists than anyone who has worked in TV. We had LOTS of them over the years at Channel 8 and I learned a great deal from all of them. I live for Americana and promote our little corner of the world heavily—Finger Lakes, Western New York, my beloved Southern Tier, Mohawk Valley, Central New York, North Country and Adirondacks—am slowly exploring the Capital Region and the Hudson as we move forward. I firmly believe we live in one of the most beautiful areas of the world. I started my nightly “60 Seconds of Serenity” in the opening days of Covid and have continued that offering (tonight will be entry #2026)—it has become a staple of the page. We’ve taken on some global travel and host group trips to Europe through my friends at DePrez Travel Partners in the Rochester area. I want to see more of America and the world while I can and take you with me. It’s only me that runs this page—it’s impossible for me to answer every message. Yes, I wake up early. My trusty Ford Bronco Sport is closing in on 100,000 miles in just over two years (thank you Van Bortel Ford for the excellent maintenance). And why do I go to Letchworth State Park along the Genesee River so much? That’s the park that really got me into all of this.

So, thank you for the support! And thank you to the so many of you who have supported our charitable projects, too. We just sold our last 2026 calendar yesterday. Through YOUR support, we’ve raised about $210,000 for various causes these last few years through calendar and postcard projects. I take the reach of this page very seriously. Metrics for the last 28 days says the page has reached 56 million people. I know NONE of this happens without my followers. From the depths of my heart I say THANK YOU very much!

My 2026 Trips: I’ve been getting all sorts of inquiries about my group trip offerings for 2026. My good friends at DePrez Travel and I are finalizing itineraries as I post this and we will soon have specific trip details (thank you Craig, Gwen and Cindy). I want to see the world—with that I am upping the trip count to a total of four next year. These are the adventures we are targeting:

—Italy in April with a focus on Sicily. Last May we visited Rome, Tuscany Region, Florence and Venice. SO much to see in Italy that I think I need to do a trip there each year for a few years. Plus I have a hankering for gelato again.

—Northern Ireland in June. Last year we went to Ireland and saw stunning beauty everywhere we went. Didn’t see Northern Ireland and I’ve heard it’s a must. We plan on going there this summer.

—Canadian Rockies in August. I’ve been tantalized long enough with amazing images and videos. I’m VERY excited to see this part of North America and we’re in the process of piecing a fun adventure together.

—European Christmas Markets Tour #4. This has become immensely popular on the page. It was my wife Charla’s idea a few years ago—didn’t think I’d like it and I’ve gotten hooked. We did Budapest, Vienna and Prague in year one. Last December we went to Germany (Frankfurt and Cologne) and Belgium (Brussels and Brugge). And one month from today we leave for Switzerland and Strasberg, France. We do these the first week in December—holiday spirit that is simply spectacular! We’re working on some ideas for this one and will lock it down soon.

Iceland was the first group trip I hosted three years ago and we had a blast—so much so, I want to go back in 2027. The last trip we did was in August to Scotland, loved that one too and want to do more. Keep a watch on the page here—I’ll be rolling out that first trip to Sicily in the next several days. Our President, Craig Curran, has officially returned from the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

This climb was the challenge of a lifetime—demanding endurance, resilience, and determination—and Craig rose to the occasion. We couldn’t be more proud!
