Every top is designed on an individual basis to custom fit your boat. All dimensions are specific to each boats style and customers needs. We take the time to listen and give the best advice to meet those needs. Our wide range of tops includes: Bimini tops, Convertible tops, Camper tops, Shore Station Covers, Skin tops, and Sunshades. When it comes to covering your boat every application is different. Boats have different styles and come in many shapes and sizes. If your boat has special rigging or just has that unique design that requires special attention, we have the experience to bring it all together. Our wide range of covers includes: Cockpit covers, Shore Station covers, Bow covers, mooring covers, and Travel covers. Canvas Enclosures
When it comes to fitting your boat top or hardtop with an enclosure you want a tight fit and panels that come together perfectly. We take time to fit each panel so it looks like it was truly custom fit. Repairs and restitching
Over the years canvas and thread will wear away, we can re-sew them to extend the life a bit longer. Many times covers get damaged and torn and we offer all kinds of repairs as well. If your boat canvas or zippers are going bad or have broke let us replace them with brand new ones. If your Velcro is no longer holding, we can replace that too. If you have a repair, let us evaluate it and give you smart options. We even have repair solutions for all kinds of smaller Daysailers, Kite boards and Windsurfer sails. Happy Earth Day from all of us at Quantum Sails Rochester 🌎

Today is a reminder that the water we sail on and the wind that drives us are worth protecting - not just today, but every day. In that spirit, we’re proud to highlight one of our partners, Annapolis-based artist JJ Hogan, the creative force behind Golden Lines and Silver Linings.

As JJ puts it:
“Rescuing sails is a preventive measure and action. We can prevent these materials from being discarded, neglected, or forgotten through reclaiming, repurposing, and reimagining their purpose… Creating art with sails preserves our past and reimagines our future - beautifully fusing story, soul, and texture.”

Have you given your sails a quick pre-season check? Before the season ramps up, take a few minutes to inspect your inventory. A simple once over now can catch small issues before they become expensive problems.

Look for:
• Holes, tears, or chafe spots in the fabric
• Loose or failing stitching along seams, leech, and foot
• Missing or damaged mainsail slides
• Wear or separation in the bolt rope
• Batten pockets and tensioners working properly
• Corner webbings that feel brittle or overstressed

Also check for signs of moisture, mildew, or the occasional critter that decided your sail bag was a good home.
