We recently were contacted by a customer who had a painting that was 8ftx8ft, worth $100,000 and need shipped to Ireland. First obstacle was getting the painting to Roanoke Va from Colorado. It was a little bit of a challenge, but we were able to use another store in our franchise to help with retrieving and shipping the painting to Roanoke. Second, we needed to take the painting to a frame shop in Greensboro NC. Third we went and picked up the painting and brought it back to our store so we could prepare the painting for its final destination. We wrapped the painting in glassine, cardboard than bubble wrap. We built a custom-made crate so it would be able to be shipped by airplane to Ireland. There was a lot of obstacles, but we were able to overcome them.
