Keeping Florida powered. ⚡

Two massive transformers recently arrived at the Port of Palm Beach.

Thanks to our Port tenant Enstructure, the transformers were safely unloaded directly from a ship onto specialized trailers.

Each transformer weighs approximately 230 metric tons each, that’s about the weight of 150 cars.

Florida Highway Patrol escorted these oversized loads as they made their way to their destination in western Palm Beach County.

The move highlights the Port’s role in supporting critical infrastructure and helping deliver essential equipment to Florida’s largest electricity provider, Florida Power & Light (FPL).

Port Activity Day 4 took us behind the scenes with U.S. Customs and Border Protection! 🌎⚓️

Our interns gained a firsthand look at how CBP protects our nation’s borders while facilitating lawful international trade and travel. It was an eye-opening experience that showcased another essential part of Port operations.
