This is a quick read which highlights equine death planning. Many of the words written have come out of my own mouth, such as the consideration of quality of life for your horse. Sometimes, the death of our animal is not in our control, you have to give that to God. We do have the ability to plan and have contacts in place for when the day comes, which allows a smoother transition through a very difficult day. Improve Equine

This past Tuesday, we humanely euthanized Ruthie. A horse person's honest, practical look at planning a good death — the decision, the logistics, the science, and the law — so you're not learning it in the worst hour.

Was not liking Facebook’s music choices at all but digging this one.

Do you know that the lines in the sky made from planes are know as contrails? The lines also lasts longer in humid regions and are made from tiny ice crystals. Condensation lines. I remember when I was a flight attendant we would have the air going inside the plane causing condensation and people would freak out thinking the plane was on fire. It was condensation- the planes cold air hitting Floridas warm air, the person would relax, when I told them. Anxiety, flying can be, looking at the lines in the sky can make some people anxious. I would tell my passengers, if they were worried during a flight they could look at me smiling back at them from the front seat and they would know the flight was going to be okay. I used to always be smiling. When I pick up a horse, I try to ease my clients too, as best I can. When I transport for burial, I see the universe do amazing things for people to ease their heartache, to help us along, to keep us moving. The universe gave me this sky today.

Had a visit to Horse Country today, for an emergency vet transport. Buddy is resting well and in good hands. Wish I would have got a picture of the team working when we arrived, they are amazing. I also wish I could have found the picture of me in 2018 with a man snowboarding who was wearing a shirt that said, “No falls, no balls”. Pretty sure I deleted it after my husband didn’t appreciate me getting the picture, hahaha. The semi reminded me of that shirt (zoom in), in small writing under the “Oh Balls” it’s says, “Be Kind”.
