Some of Wyoming's biggest industries start with the materials beneath our feet.

Soda ash, mined in the Green River Basin, is used to make everyday products like glass and detergents. BTI transports it from Wyoming to the manufacturers that rely on it.

From the mine to the manufacturer, every delivery matters.

In the final episode of our docuseries, Keep Wyoming Moving, we look beyond the trucks to the community that has shaped BTI for the past four decades.

From supporting local organizations and youth programs to helping make a new hospital a reality, BTI's story has always been about more than transportation. It's about investing in the people and places that have supported the company since the very beginning.

As the series comes to a close, Episode 6 reflects on the legacy BTI has built, the families who helped shape it, and the commitment to Wyoming that continues to guide the road ahead.

Because in the end, the greatest measure of a company isn't the miles it travels. It's the lives it touches along the way.

This is BTI.

This is what keeps Wyoming moving.

Not every shipment stays on the same truck from start to finish.

Many bulk commodities travel by both truck and rail before reaching their destination. Through our partnership with the BDW, BTI helps transfer those shipments between transportation modes.

Coordinated transportation helps keep products moving without unnecessary delays.

One small detail can delay an entire load.

That's why every truck is carefully inspected and maintained before it leaves the yard. Catching problems early helps keep freight moving safely and on schedule.

Because the pursuit of excellence starts long before a truck leaves the yard.

A long day on the road should still end at home.

At BTI, we work hard to get drivers home to their families because life off the road matters just as much as the miles on it.

Before fertilizer can help grow crops, one material has to stay hot for the entire journey.

That material is molten sulfur, an essential ingredient used to produce fertilizer.

BTI transports it in specialized equipment that keeps it at the right temperature from pickup to delivery, so manufacturers receive a product that's ready for the next step.

BTI has received a Platinum Motor Carrier Safety Award from Great West Casualty Company for outstanding achievement in highway safety.

Great West’s annual Motor Carrier Safety Awards recognize motor carriers based on their year-end preventable accident results compared with companies operating in similar categories.

For BTI, the recognition reflects the work our drivers, maintenance crew, safety team, dispatchers, and everyone behind the scenes put in every day to keep our trucks and the people around them safe.

Safety has always been part of how we do the job at BTI, and we’re proud to see that commitment recognized with a Platinum Award.

Thank you to the entire BTI team for continuing to make safety a priority every mile!
