🌊🇺🇸 Alaska Adventure – Kenai Fjords National Park 🇺🇸🌊
We were lucky enough to experience one of Alaska’s true natural wonders on a Kenai Fjords National Park boat tour! Established in 1980, Kenai Fjords protects nearly 700,000 acres of stunning wilderness, including the massive Harding Icefield, one of the largest icefields in the United States.
The day was filled with incredible wildlife sightings and breathtaking scenery. We watched seals lounging on rocks, spotted playful sea otters floating in the water, saw puffins darting across the waves, and were even lucky enough to see whales! 🐋
One of the coolest moments was getting to hold a piece of glacial ice that had been scooped right out of the water. This ice is hundreds, sometimes thousands, of years old and serves as a reminder of the power and beauty of Alaska’s glaciers. 🧊
Cruising past towering tidewater glaciers as chunks of ice floated around us was something I’ll never forget. The combination of wildlife, glaciers, mountains, and ocean views made this an unforgettable Alaska experience.
