Established in 1975, ENC, a subsidiary of REV Group, Inc. (REV), manufactures low floor and standard floor buses for public transit/paratransit, airport, parking and university transportation markets. from, ENC can accommodate nearly any design or fuel system request. Each model has successfully completed FTA/Altoona durability testing and all low floor models have passed third-party side impact crash and roof crush performance testing. All models have passed a comprehensive battery of crash tests to comply with applicable FMVSS, CMVSS, DOT, EPA, ADA and NHTSA requirements for ensuring safe and reliable service in every operating environment. ENC utilizes computer aided design (CAD) systems and the latest generation Algor Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Autodesk Inventor 3-D modeling software to engineer medium- and heavy-duty bus designs for assembly at its 227,000 square foot, ISO 9001 certified production facility located on 17 acres in Riverside, California. The company recently completed a lean manufacturing initiative to optimize efficiency for all product design and manufacturing processes, including body structure fabrication, exterior corrosion protection and painting, materials procurement and supply, quality assurance/quality control and employee workplace and safety training.
