Last weekend - 30 miles off the coast of California: Southeast Farallon Island.
Hokahey - volunteering to transport the biologists who live/work on the Island as part of the Farallon Patrol.

Sad news for all the amazing conservation that happens on these remarkable islands.
And for the incredible diversity of life that exists there.
I've been a volunteer skipper with the Farallon Patrol for the last 8 years - transporting scientists and their food/gear...

The nonprofit that has sent biologists to live and work on the islands for decades will leave in September and return on a seasonal basis.

Yesterday it was a Women's Yoga/hike/meditation retreat on Angel Island on Hokahey...
It is a blessing to be able to have a life that support's other's health and joy.
While the women were off on their hike and mediation, I rode the circumference of the island on my Electric Unicycle... I sometimes forget how beautifully stunning San Francisco Bay and Angel Island are...
