Cooking for my neighbors. I love to cook and being hospitable. Everytime I come to Africa I do something to serve my neighbors and show them some love. It really is my joy to do so because they are so sweet to me and I appreciate them in my life. They enjoy trying so called-American meals, especially corn bread! They also cook Tanzanian meals for me from time to time. I can tell you this is a big difference from in America where my neighbors strain just to say hello after I speak first. I have tried to be neighborly to them on many occasions and have given them loads of soap and Shea butter, but there is no reciprocation of the love. And people wonder why I love it here so much.
