Memorial Day weekend train rides- get your summer started on Friday night!
Your ticket price includes a five dollar credit for a beverage from the tavern. Tavern opens at 6:45 train departs at 7 PM. Train ride lasts about an hour and 20 minutes.
On Saturday at 4 PM we have the nature and history special and interactive Railway experience with Erin and Theodor. Train ride last about an hour and 25 minutes.
Train is open for seating at 3:45 and the Tavern car will be in service.
Lots of beaver activity out in the park these days so we’ll be scoping that out.
$20 for adults
$15 for children 3 to 12

Saturday afternoon train ride in Richfield Springs- we are running one train this weekend on Saturday, May 16 at 4 PM. Relaxing afternoon, train ride with a little bit of history and a whole lot of nature activity along the way.
Interactive train ride experience for the kids on a one hour 24 minute narrow gauge railway experience.
$20 for big kids
$15 for medium sized kids age 3 to 12

Mother's Day Weekend on the Scenic Railway- We are thinking of mom this weekend and how much she loves trains!? Well, even if she doesn't, we are betting some people in her family do.

Heated railcars for passenger comfort!

Trains on Friday May 8th at 7PM and Sunday May 10th at 4PM. Train and Tavern open for boarding about 15 minutes before departure time.

The Tavern Lounge will be serving up a free beverage of her choice to enjoy with the family. Maybe a diet Coke maybe a Jack and Coke (we won't talk about that) for the special gal.

Erin and Theodor will be serving up a full rasher of mom sized fun on these 2 trains out to the end of the line and back which is a 1:23 minute journey. We have a mother goose sitting on her nest alongside the tracks and plenty of beaver activity to see along the way. Always something happening in our nature park.

Valentine’s trains will not be running this weekend- we put a swell new plow on Weimar, but the depth of the snow made it so even with the new plow, we could not clear the railroad.
This winter has been a real challenge here in upstate New York. Definitely the snow is conditions we have not seen since the railroad opened for passenger service in 2020.
We will work to get the railroad open as soon as possible and we will announce a train or two as soon as that happens .
Be well and do a good work in the meantime, Richfield Springs Railroad is grateful to all our friends who enjoy riding trains like we do!!
