Aloha! Our next Taylor Ramblers Group Walk will be Friday, June 5, meeting by 6:00 pm on the east side (tag office side) of the Taylor County Courthouse in City of Butler Georgia. We'll walk Main Street to the end of the sidewalk and back and return to enjoy First Friday events on the Courthouse Square. Come join us for healthy activity and building community!

The Taylor Ramblers helped people to celebrate the joy of walking and riding bicycles at the 2026 Georgia Strawberry Festival! The day kicked off with a morning bike ride on the Beechwood Loop. Next several children competed for the best-decorated bicycle and then walked/rolled in the parade. Later, folks stopped by the Taylor Ramblers booth to learn about bicycle pedestrian safety. Congratulations to competition winners, Rebekah Dotson (1st place), Henlee Tribble (2nd), and Riggons Wainwright (3rd). Congratulations as well to Kennedy Hinton and Marty Snipes for winning bicyles at the booth. We hope you get out to walk and bike this spring!

We had a great group walk Friday afternoon, and then enjoyed First Friday in City of Butler Georgia, Cinco de Mayo celebration organized by Taylor County Chamber of Commerce! We hope you'll join us for the next group walk. Watch this page for details.

Let's celebrate Cinco de Mayo week with a Group Walk! Meet this Friday, May 1, 6 pm at First Baptist Church Butler, GA and walk together 1.5 miles from there to the Walking Track and back. Return to enjoy FIRST FRIDAY festivities at the Butler Courthouse Square!

The Georgia Strawberry Festival is almost here! Join the Taylor Ramblers by riding a bicycle or walking together in the Strawberry Festival Parade Cycling & Walking Group. These riders are ready to compete for PRIZES for the best strawberry-themed bicycles! Bicycle Decoration competitors should gather at First Baptist Church of Reynolds by 9:15 for judging. Other walkers and riders can report at 9:30 am to line up for the 10 am parade. Don't forget your helmet. • Rider Appearance (in coordination with bike décor)

What a beautiful evening for a walk in the City of Reynolds! Seventeen people showed up to walk together, the weather was perfect, the temperature was mild, and everyone had fun. The kids also enjoyed feeding the goats at the Reynolds GA Police Department. We hope you'll join us for the next community walk!
