CMB Logisitics is Hiring a Safety and Compliance Coordinator.
The primary purpose is conduct audits of driver qualification files to ensure controls, accuracy of records and efficiency of operations. This is a Full Time Position. Pay is based on experience.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Running daily reports and taking appropriate measures to resolve violations, discrepancies, or missing logs with drivers.
2. Audit Driver Qualification files to ensure compliance with FMCSA and DOT; This is achieved by ensuring the driver qualification files is accurate, legible and complete.
3. Verifying drivers are logged On-Duty as required.
4. Print E-Logs Daily and File
5. Analyzes data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, fraud, or lack of compliance.
6. Prepare audit findings and makes recommendations to management.
7. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
8. Monthly Safety Training to all drivers
9. Constant Updates of the Safety Training Manual
10. May perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Preferred Qualification:
Must have a thorough understanding of FMCSA and DOT requirements and regulations.
Education: High School Diploma, GED or 1 Year of experience within the Transportation Industry
SKILLS:
Proficient with Word, Excel, One Drive; detail oriented; strong written and verbal communication skills; analytical, positive attitude, and highly motivated.
