In just over two months, I will be returning to Cancun, Mexico for the 2026 Ascend Conference.

This conference brings together 700 travel advisors to learn, connect with suppliers and get in-destination experience to pass along to all of you!

I was just notified that my host resort will be Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort & Spa ! If you have booked with us in the past, you know how much we love Secrets Resorts & Spas.

I will be posting photos of the resort, room tours, restaurant options and more. If you have any specific questions about the property, I would be happy to check it out for you.

*Update on office hours July 20th - 25th*

Monday, July 20 - CLOSED. Ohio Edison has a planned outage from 8am - 2pm. The office will not have power, I will be working from home. Email will be the best form of communication.

Tuesday, July 21 - Open 9am - 4pm

Wednesday, July 22 - Open 9am - 4pm. Walk ins by appointment only.

Thursday, July 23 - Open 9am - 4pm

Friday, July 24 - 9am - 12pm - my beautiful sister is getting married this weekend

Saturday, July 25 - Closed for the wedding

The State Department has released an important update regarding passports for anyone who has outstanding child support.

Please read below:

In coordination with , will revoke U.S. passports of those who owe significant child support debt. Anyone owing child support debt should arrange payment now with the relevant state child support enforcement agency to prevent passport revocation. If outside the U.S. when their passport is revoked, individuals with significant debt will be eligible ONLY for a limited validity passport for direct return to the United States. Let’s Talk About Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort & Spa in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.

Only 20 minutes from the Cancun Airport, this property relaxing from the very start. The open air lobby is spacious, with lots of seating and a beautiful water feature.

After checking in, you walk through the property, full of bright pink flowers and swaying palm trees.

The rooms are huge, with a whirlpool bath tub, waterfall shower and two sink vanity.

There are many, many restaurants and bars on property, I will make a separate post for those.

The most impressive part for me was the pools. The main pool is massive, with a swim up bar, daily activities and live music. There are a few smaller pools around the property, one Adults only and one for Preferred Club guests.

The staff here are kind, hard working and excited to make your vacation the best it can be. From reception, to cleaning staff, to waiters, we had a great experience with everyone.
