Ever wonder just how durable plastic coloring really is?

We've put it to the test many times over the years, but recently I put together a very detailed 4-part video series comparing the hobby-grade aerosol product everybody cherishes directly against the true professional, trade-only coating system we use in our shop.

The goal? To demonstrate the next level of quality and durability our customers pay for.

The series is lengthy, but for good reason! It covers critical information for a proper understanding, documents every step from start to finish, and shows the actual test results so you can see the differences for yourself.

We definitely recommend watching all parts in order to have a proper und but as I said, the results will speak for themselves.

EXPEDITED PRODUCTION IS NOW AVAILABLE

Following our recent request for feedback, we've officially added an optional Expedited Production service for Double DIN Kits and Custom Armrests.

This premium service includes dedicated after-hours production time and UPS Next Day Air shipping once completed, without affecting existing customers' production schedules.

To learn more or purchase this service, we strongly urge you to read the collapsible "Expedited Production" section under Additional Info on the applicable product page.

This section explains exactly how the service works, including its limitations. Customers are responsible for reviewing these details before purchasing. We are not responsible for misunderstandings resulting from choosing not to read the provided information.

The option is available at checkout on eligible products.

Would you like an EXPEDITED PRODUCTION option?

We're considering offering a paid rush option for Double DIN Kits and Custom Armrests.

This would mean working additional late-night hours to complete expedited orders sooner, without affecting existing customers' estimated lead times.

It would come with a hefty fee for priority production, with UPS Next Day Air shipping included once completed.

Normal pricing and lead times would remain unchanged.

YES or NO — Should we offer this option? Let us know in the comments!

📩 We've Made a Change to How You Contact Us

We've added a new guided contact system to the websites!

Over the years, I've put a lot of effort into making detailed information available online, and I realized there was a better way to connect that information with people who have questions.

The new system simply asks what you're contacting us about first. Depending on what you select, it may take you directly to the information that answers your question — meaning you can get the answer immediately instead of waiting for an email response.

And if the website truly doesn't answer your question, you can still send us a message directly.

It's not replacing human communication. It's simply an easier way to help you find an immediate answer when one is already available, while still providing a direct way to reach us when one isn't.

You'll find the new system anytime you choose to email us through the website.

And yes... there's even an “I DON'T LIKE THIS” button for anyone who isn't a fan. 😂

Color matching?

Yeah, we do that too. Some might think color matching is navigating to the spray can rack at the store and choosing the closest color.

In our shop, it’s matching and mixing toner colors to create a formula from scratch, right on the workbench, using a high-performance interior coloring system.

Whether we’re matching a customer’s original parts, another part, leather, or vinyl, we custom mix and formulate the color in-house. Once it’s right, we create a master color card and add the formula to our private color library with its own ID and all the information needed to mix it again.

That’s real color matching.

Want to see how the system we use holds up? We put it head to head against an aerosol interior coating that a lot of people swear by in our four-part durability demo so customers can see the type of quality they pay for at our shop. Watch it here 👇

Double stitching or single stitching?

We often get asked which each stitching option actually is between a double stitch and a single stitch.

Well... Working on fulfilling orders and so happen to have back to back arm rest orders in queue that are the same everything except the stitching.

Such an unusual coincidence, but there isn't a better opportunity 💥

Hopefully this helps folks who may still have that question.

We offer custom interior restoration for ANY vehicle.

How durable is interior coloring? I get asked that often, and it's a good question.

I put together a four-part series that is quite lengthy, but when watched properly, viewers will see a head-to-head comparison between the trade-only professional system we use and a product people deeply cherish.

NO fluff, NO hand-picked results— STRICTLY FACTS & FOOTAGE.

👉I STRONGLY RECOMMEND WATCHING ALL FOUR PARTS IN ORDER. WITHOUT DOING SO, THE VIEWER CANNOT HAVE A PROPER, FACTUAL UNDERSTANDING OF THE RESULTS BY SIMPLY SKIPPING AROUND.👈

The series is NOT a DIY presentation, it's NOT an ad for coloring products, it's NOT a where to go to buy products...
It IS strictly a demonstration of the quality level our customers are paying for in just one area of our process, let alone the restoration as a whole, when they choose us for their interior restoration
