We are currently looking for port drivers and over the road drivers; our long haul is CA to TX.

Here are our current job descriptions for both positions. Our pay does depend on experience and their road test.


PORT DRIVER

Job Description:

Class A Driver will be responsible for transporting containers from the ports to offsite port logistics yards and customer locations.
No Touch Freight
Operate combination tractor & trailer in a safe & efficient manner.
Ability to interact with dispatch and customers daily and take direction in a professional manner.
Driver must have good communication skills with a team-orientated approach.
Comply with and have a strong knowledge of all DOT Regulations, including Hours of Service and electronic logs.
Driver must be familiar with containers, cranes & chassis.
Driver must know how to navigate in a military terminal and be proficient in backing up.

Requirements:
• 6 months of previous Class A Port driving experience within the past 36 months
• Valid Medical Certification and CDL
• Valid TWIC Card
• Do not exceed any combination of 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the previous 36 months
• 1 chargeable accident in the last three yrs.
• No major violations in the last three yrs.
• No license Minimum of 6 months OTR experience driving a commercial vehicle
• No more than 5 minor violations in the last three yrs.
• No more than suspensions in the three yrs.
• No more than 2 major log violation (More than 2 violations will go on a strict probation and must be approved by HR)
• Self-Certification (NI)
• No record of DUI or Reckless Driving within the past 5 years
• Safe Driving Record

Job Key Benefits:

Compensation: $60-85K Annually

Year-Round Consistent Freight
Pick up and deliver goods from CA to TX
Ensure the Trailer hitch is properly & securely attached to the tractor unit
Maintain & service vehicle when needed
Follow delivery schedule & rest at appropriate times
Maintain detailed driving & delivery logs
Comply with DOT & CHP rules & regulations
Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean

Job Key Benefits:

Fourth of July Safety Reminders for Truckers:

1) Stay Alert. This one applies to truckers all year long, but it's especially important during periods of heavier traffic.
2) Watch Your Speed. If you find yourself outpacing the traffic around you, slow down.

April Driver Awareness Month

Please pay attention when driving near a commercial vehicle. They are people just like us that are working to keep stores, restaurants, and many more places opening and running.

We need to be considerate of our truck drivers. Just like we have blinds spot, so do they. They can't just stop if someone cuts them off and all of a sudden traffic hits and the freeway turns into a parking lot.

Please pay attention to the road.

Set your radio to a pandora station that you won't keep changing, set your GPS before you leave, buckle your seat belts before you leave, give the kids their snacks before you take off, have your Bluetooth set and in your ear already. Keep the volume to the radio at a level where you can hear the music and are still able to hear a car honk or sirens pass.
