Saw this little guy today in the wild!! Our very first sighting of a Gila Monster on the mountain roads along the Apache river. As an animal-loving family, we were ecstatic! Apparently, it’s pretty rare to see them as they only spend 3-5% of their time above ground.

Hooray to camping weekend!! 🥰 Lake, mountains, nature. What more can we ask for?
